Electronic Toolbox combines 12 different categories, all with a consistent look and feel.
Categories include:
- Type listings (with color coding) for Resistors and Capacitors
- Databases for Transistors and ICs
- Calculating circuit values for Resistor, Capacitor, Coil, and Filter circuits
- An Ohms Law calculator
- Unit conversion for numerous types of Measurements (pressure, energy, distance, speed etc.)
- A database for common electrical Symbols
- An Indices database of common electrical components
With many of the categories, input values can be entered with unit levels included (m, k, etc.), providing automatic conversion to the appropriate value. The app provides visual displays of the circuits and components being used, further simplifying its use. An enormous database is also included with information for over 5000 transistors, ICs, diagrams, and component specifications, all available without an Internet connection.
Database examples:
- The transistor database contains numerous types of rows (BC, BD, BF, 2N, etc.) and a full text search is available to find and compare types
- The transistor database includes data such as NPN/PNP, silicon/germanium, Ptot, Vcbo, Icmax, etc.
- Diagrams are provided for transistor housings, indicating base, collector, and emitter terminals
- The IC database contains the most common 4000 CMOS and 7400 TTL series types, including connection diagrams and functional descriptions (NAND gate, Schmitt trigger, etc.)
- The Indices database offers international names and specifications of batteries, coaxial cables, conductive substances, and various frequencies

The program offers 12 individual programs in one. The individual programs can be used consistently and very easy. Values can be entered for example with or without units (k, m, g, µ, p, n). The conversion takes place automatically. The result becomes, where meaningfully, equivalent in three different units indicated. Thus, it is not necessary to convert units manually or to choose the desired unit.
With circuit computations such as series, parallel, bridge connections, filter circuit or resonant circuits the corresponding diagram will be displayed.
The program contains an enormous database of over 5000 transistors, ICs, diagrams and specifications. All data can be used off-line. Thus, after the installation of the program, no Internet connection is needed in order to use the program.
The determination of a resistance value or the value of a capacitor on the basis the colour rings or sequence of numbers is very simple with the mini application "Resistors" or "Capacitors".
Here the type of the circuit can be selected in the lower section. In the upper section, the values can be entered via iPhone keyboard.
It is possible to enter values directly with the desired unit (m, k, µ). The conversion takes place automatically. Also, values will be shown in three different units.
The transistor data base contains types like BC,BD,BF,BU,2N, 2SA,2SC,AC,AD,AF,AU,TIP etc. By full text search transistors and their comparison types can be found. To each transistor, the characteristic data is indicated such as NPN/PNP, silicon/germanium, Ptot, Ucbo, Icmax, frequency and the comparison types. In addition, for each transistor the shape of the housing and connections are indicated with emitter, basis and collector.
The database contains more than 14000 transistors.
The IC database contains the most usual 74er and 40's ICs including connection diagrams and description of the function (NAND gate, Schmit trigger etc.).
The filter calculation is shown on the right site. The corresponding filter type high-pass or low-pass etc. can be selected, the schematic diagram will be displayed and the frequency will be caculated based on the values entered in the upper section.
The Indices section offers international names and specifications of batteries, coaxial cables as for example to RG58 or AIRCELL, chemical indication, resistance, conductance etc. of materials, use of the frequencies from long wave to SHF and many more.

The unit computer supports the categories pressure, energy, distance, surface, speed, weight, force, power, temperature, volume, time and bytes. Values can be converted into the most usual ones, however also exotic and foreign units are offered.
