amongst other things, an iPhone is ideal to support people with their hobbies.
I have written two iPhone Applications that may help in this area.
The Electronic Toolbox iPhone App is a set of 12 mini-Apps that helps electronic hobbyists in many areas such as calculations, database for electronic devices, formulas etc.

The iPhone App iCluster will help HAM-Radio operators to get an overview of the current situation on-air.

iCluster was released by Apple since October 31st and can be downloaded here.
Quotes is the newest iPhone Applikation, which is available in AppStore since December 4th.
